Call for Papers

Otoritas Jasa Keuangan Institute (OJK Institute), a government institution in Indonesia, invites academics, researchers, students, practitioners, and the general public to submit their papers for the KARISMA OJK Paper Award 2026.

This annual event, held since 2021, aims to enrich scientific studies on current issues, challenges, and developments in the economics and financial services sector. KARISMA OJK serves as a platform to promote innovative, evidence-based research that contributes to strengthening Indonesia’s financial system and economic resilience.

• Financial Sector Technology Innovation (ITSK) and Digital Financial Assets

Submission Guidelines

Requirements for Participants

1. Participants must follow the scientific writing guidelines determined by the Committee.
2. Each submission must include a Curriculum Vitae (CV) of all authors (name, affiliation, contact, education, research, publications).
3. Participants must register and submit all required documents through the official website: https://www.karismaojki.com
4. Employees of Otoritas Jasa Keuangan are not eligible to participate.

General Guidelines

• Submissions may be individual or team-based (maximum 3 authors).
• Papers must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
• Papers must not be translations or compilations of existing works.
• The topic must align with the theme or listed topics.
• Both qualitative and quantitative approaches are welcome.

Research Paper Structure

• Manuscripts must be written in English
• Maximum length: 35 pages
• Format: Calibri, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing
• Include:
  • Abstract (max. 200 words)
  • 3–5 keywords
  • JEL Classification (2 digits)

Important Dates

• Submission Deadline: June 30, 2026
• Evaluation Period: July – September 2026
• Final Presentation & Award Announcement: October 2026
